The Blog of the Week for the week of February 20th to the 26th, 2011 is 'Random thoughts...'. This is a personal space from blogger Lisa who is a self professed "community volunteer, book lover, foodie and salt beef junkie". Before blogging became political, before each space developed any clear topic for that matter, we had Web Logs; online journals where people expressed their daily lives and happenings freely to the world. Lisa's space is much like that with her posts being filled with personal experiences, which don't necessary have any political or social commentary attached. Most of the posts are just about her, the things she likes and what's she's been up to. In selecting this blog this week, I'm paying homage to not only a great site but, perhaps to the blogging of old as well. And don't worry, those who crave the political commentary will find snippets of such throughout as well.
