Note that the Quebec directive extends only to those home based Daycare's receiving government funding.
Meanwhile in Ontario...The City of Windsor, under the auspices of the Ministry of Community & Social Services, subsidizes the operation of a daycare that provides an "Islamic Curriculum".
"We serve children from all faiths and nationalities. With that in mind, we try our best to accmommodate the needs of the children with the approval of the parents.
The Islamic studies are amied towards the children with the muslim faith. This curriculum includes teachings of the Islamic faith and culture.
Are there any Baptist Daycare's receiving a subsidy? How about a Wiccan daycare? Seriously, I just don't know at this point.
